Equipping Indonesian Children with English Proficiency from an Early Age

Increasingly Crucial Search for an Ideal Learning Solution to Enhance English Proficiency from an Early Age, particularly in Indonesia, which according to the English Proficiency Index data of countries worldwide still falls into the low proficiency category and ranks 79 out of 113 countries (EF EPI 2023).

Conceptually, the methods offered are quite comprehensive with integration functions among three English learning platforms commonly used separately for similar educational products or English teaching processes in classrooms.

The Student Portal is a learning platform offering English materials from basic to complex Levels, tailored to students' abilities following a prior placement test. It includes the Galaxy Gems feature, which serves as students' achievement coins exchangeable for various attractive rewards.

Meanwhile, the Teacher Portal serves as a Teacher's Companion, providing numerous benefits related to the teaching-learning process in classrooms such as accessing learning content during classes, managing accounts of all students, creating questions and tests, and assessment scoring. Inaugural Launch: LearningRoom Hosts CSR Program

In conjunction with its official launch earlier this month, LearningRoom organized a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program titled 'Learning and Breaking Fast Together' by visiting the Muhammadiyah Orphanage in Tanah Abang.

During the event, LearningRoom also introduced one of its learning methods, which is learning through the digital English language platform specially designed for students from elementary to junior high school levels.

"While waiting for iftar time, we invited the children to try LearningRoom firsthand and provide them with a new experience in English language learning methods that are much more engaging due to child-friendly visual displays, interactive methods, various educational games, and challenging puzzles," said Keshia Sherie, Head of Product at LearningRoom.

In an atmosphere filled with joy, the 'Learning and Breaking Fast Together' event was successfully held. The orphanage children not only gained valuable learning experiences but also felt the warmth and togetherness during the iftar session.
