The coronavirus, or this COVID-19 pandemic, had made a variety of sports activities that are usually contested in the arena and watched by many people can not be carried out. The same thing also felt by pro players in esports. That is why the Indonesia Esports Association (IESPA) together with the RBJ Esports organization held an event called Esports x Football.

The event will initiate a friendly match of PUBG Mobile as the real sports to compete between the professional athletes and well-known gamers or influencers. This is also to support WHO's call to play the game as a way to carry out physical distancing to avoid the transmission of COVID-19 or the coronavirus.

Several national soccer players were invited, ranging from Hamka Hamzah, Bagus Kahfi, Bagas Kaffa, Rizky Pora, Diego Michiels, and Ricardo Salampessy to play PUBG Mobile. It turns out that esports is the real sport that is also favored by other sports practitioners and this is a routine activity of other sports athletes during their leisure time.

From the gamer squad, some popular esports teams such as AURA, XcN, and Diverso, will be participated in the event along with other well-known influencers like BangPen, Skygaming, Lalajo Laura, and Cencen. Unfortunately, the PUBG Mobile Pro League tournament is still underway, therefore many pro PUBGM teams are currently focusing on the official tournament.
