The Municipal Government of Kupang and PT 8 Elements signed an MoU regarding the Procurement of Bibalala as an English Digital Learning Media for Elementary and Middle Schools.
The Kupang City Government (Pemkot) collaborated and signed an MoU with PT 8 Elements, which is the most experienced premium mobile content and service provider in Asia since 2003.
The signing of the MoU between PT Elements Bibalala and the Kupang City Government was held at the Kupang Mayor's Office, Wednesday (5/4), by the Acting Mayor of Kupang, George M Hadjoh and Dian Soraya, as New Business Managers.
This collaboration is carried out to support English language learning for students in public schools in Kupang City, as well as to assist teachers in the learning process.
Acting Mayor of Kupang George Hadjoh said, following the vision and mission of the Governor of East Nusa Tenggara, especially the English language program that must be implemented in schools.
"So we in Kupang City warmly welcome and are enthusiastic about the Bibalala program, which is of course in line with the Governor's mission, so that children can master English from an early age," he explained.
According to George, Bibalala is the best solution needed by every school and especially for school students directly to learn English from an early age as a provision for their future.
"Moreover, Bibalala is available with a Cambridge-based curriculum that is believed to be effective by the international community, only at a price that is very affordable to the wider community," he added.
As the representative of PT 8 Elements, Dian Soraya mentioned, the main target at the moment is students at Public Elementary Schools in Kupang City. This collaboration with the Kupang City Government aims to prepare children to master English from an early age, which will become their future assets.
According to her, for cooperation with the City Government, only Rp. 60,000 is charged for one year per account. The price of Bibalala is very affordable because it is a subsidy program from PT 8 Elements with the developer.
"A very low price was given to the Kupang City Government which is very focused on forming a generation that can compete in the future, especially in mastering English," said Dian.
Added also by Dian Soraya, the goal is for children to master 3,000 English vocabularies within one year. "We are targeting children to master 3,000 English vocabularies that can be used in everyday conversation," she explained.
She also mentioned that Bibalala has a lot of technology and games, which of course are educational games for children so that children can play while learning.
"This collaboration will last for one year, of course, the results can be seen one year ahead. If you have passed this level, you can proceed to the next level, namely levels four, five, and six," said Dian.
In addition, the ability to speak foreign languages, especially English, is under the Cambridge Curriculum. By mastering English, many children from Kupang will have a positive value in the field of technology, language mastery, and self-confidence in communicating.
